Rushaga Gorilla Havens Lodge is In Uganda's Kisoro district, Rushaga Gorilla Havens Lodge is situated in a breathtaking region known as Ryarutagara. The name Ryarutagara refers to a hill with a breathtaking view of the Bwindi Impenetrable Forest national park, the mountain gorillas' natural habitat, and is visible from the audible Mashoho River.

 

Rushaga Gorilla Havens lodge is in the southern region of Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park. Rushaga Gorilla Haven Lodge is a mid-range lodge just next to the Rushaga Gorilla trailhead. It is situated in the Kisoro District, 6 kilometers to the west of Nyanamo Trading Centre.

 

Travelers can as well fly to Kisoro, the Rushaga region of Bwindi, which is easily reachable from Entebbe or Kampala. The flight is one of the more picturesque ones in Uganda and offers views of Lake Bunyonyi, Lake Mutanda, and the Virunga Volcanoes.

 

The journey from Entebbe to Kisoro takes an hour and a half by plane. From there, it is a short drive to the Rushaga Gorilla Haven lodge. Travelers can trek gorillas in the Bwindi Impenetrable Forest national park in the Rushaga sector and the nearby Nkuringo area, which has the most gorilla families.

 

The Rushaga sector is one of the park's most beautiful regions and is situated in the southern portion of the Bwindi Impenetrable Forest national park. There are now more options and plenty of things to do and see in the South of Bwindi Forest. Rushaga Gorilla Haven’s lodge is located in a distinctive area with views of the magnificent Bwindi impenetrable forest canopy and the endless kigezi hills, and Virunga volcanoes. The lodge provides clean, comfortable lodging alongside a fully stocked bar and restaurant serving a variety of regional and international dishes.
