Bishop’s house is situated in Musanze, Rwanda’s closest town to Volcanoes National Park and a 30-minute drive from the park’s headquarters, which is a good spot for mountain gorilla trekking. Bishop House aims to provide luxurious services at affordable prices. click here to view mountain gorilla trekking safaris

Bishop’s house’s location in the rich, quiet suburbs of Musanze makes the house an ideal destination for travelers interested in exploring Volcanoes National Park, the Musanze Caves, Iby’wacu gorilla village, and all the other tourist attractions that make Volcanoes National Park a busy tourist hub. click here to see our most recommended gorilla trekking safari

The Bishop's House provides the ultimate luxury and comfort in spacious rooms and first-class amenities that will surely exceed clients’s expectations. Bishop House offers plush bedding, stunning mountain views, and everything that makes travelers stay unforgettable.

Bishop’s House offers nine luxurious en-suite rooms; there are six superior rooms (with one twin), two deluxe suites, and a top-class executive suite. Each room at Bishop House is individually well-designed with differing furniture, artwork, and color schemes. All the rooms are equipped with DSTV, tea and coffee facilities, and a mini-fridge.

Bishop’s house's small en-suite washrooms have a walk-in shower and all the complimentary toiletries. The only difference between the superior rooms and the suites is the size, although the Deluxe and Executive Suites offer a small lounge. The executive suite also provides a spacious dressing area and a bathroom with big twin sinks and a bath.

Bishop’s house outside is pretty cool, with a walled garden planted, showcasing the tropical trees and flowers. The hotel management is putting a lot of effort into the garden, such as encouraging the banana tree planting scheme, where travelers are offered the chance to plant a tree before their departure, which I think is a nice touch.

Bishop's House bought land next to their property in 2019, and that is where their swimming pool was built, which will be another additional welcome feel to the hotel. I understand there are better plans for it to be upgraded to a heated pool by early 2024. Bishop House also plans to include a relaxation area and lounge next to their pool, where travelers can unwind after their morning mountain gorilla trekking.

Bishop's House offers a comfortable luxury facility with a colonial feel and is a welcome addition to the Volcanoes National Park. It is a good choice for travelers looking for a good-quality lodge with an affordable price tag in the area. Bishop’s House is also well-suited for travelers who prefer to stay in a smart hotel that is close to shops and local amenities.
